Ingredients
- 2 apples
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts sliced
- 1 Cup of your favorite BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- Pepper
- Salt
- 2 small yellow onions sliced
- Pretzel Buns
- Extra BBQ sauce for sandwich topping
- Slice of cheese (I used Swiss)
- Veggies of choice. (I used Spinach)
Directions
- In a blender puree apples, BBQ sauce, and vegetable broth
- Add puree to chicken breasts
- Marinate overnight
- Saute onions in butter.
- Once onions are tender add chicken
- Cook until no longer pink
- Assemble sandwich on pretzel bun with chicken, BBQ sauce, cheese, and veggies
