- Assemble 2 French Toast Sandwiches
- Slice Brioche into 4 22 g slices
- Add 18.5 g of Nutella to 2 slices of Brioche
- Then place the other slice on top of the nutella to make a sandwich
- Batter
- In two separate wide mouth bowls mix together 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1 TBSP almond milk
- Place each sandwich into a separate bowl to soak. Flip sandwich after 30 seconds to cover other side.
- Make sure all areas of sandwich is covered by egg mixture.
- Cook
- Melt 7 g of butter to a frying pan on medium heat
- Once the pan is warm, place the French toast sandwich in the pan. Coat until golden brown.
- Flip and turn down heat to low and cover pan.
- Once the bottom is golden brown. Remove from heat and slice in half.
- Plate one sandwich to each plate
- Add each slice of sandwich stacked into the center of the plate
- Top with powdered sugar
- Drizzle 0.5 TBSP of Maple Syrup on top of the sandwich stack.
- To cut the sweetness of the French toast, place slices from 1/2 of a grapefruit around the stack
- Repeat plating with other sandwich
